No wind, big swell, motored all the way. Fish jumping, none biting. Left over chicken stew even yummier the second time around.
Roatan is the biggest of the 3 Bay Islands so we had it on our sights all the way.
We headed to Jonesville to the infamous Hole in the Wall. The area used to be charted as Bodden Bight and it is best to radio ahead on Channel 66 for assistance in. There is a marked channel at N16 22.720 W086 22.164 (well the green is there and the red is just a white stick) and then plenty of deep water. There are 3 bights and hole in the wall is in the middle one, but keep right until you reach a pink buoy (as there are rocky banks in the middle and then power lines). Once at the pink buoy head to the white buoy which guides you parallel to the power lines. There is plenty of water right by the houses (30ft) so pass under the power lines close to them and Hole in the Wall is at the end by the house in the rocks.
