We braced ourselves in the Caymans for Hurricane Dennis, a powerful category 4 which has now claimed lives in Jamiaca and Cuba. It passed close to us on Thursday night and left everyone here very very relieved. People are still suffering from Ivan and there are many houses still in states of rapair.
Dennis is the strongest Hurricane on record to have developed so early in the season.
