News > Rain rain rain

Tropical storm Wilma is tracking north of us.

Lots of rain over the last few days but we did get our bottom coat primer paint on in-between showers. Kilifi has a nice blue bottom, 'Kilifi blue' we call it, until we paint it red again. But we are leaving a blue stripe this time, she should look great.

Needless to say we still aren't in the water. I've given up predicting when we will. We will be in when we are in! We have also been helping Jack paint his boat; Kitty-Hawk. Pete has decided that next time Kilifi needs her topsides painting we will do it ourselves!

Actually we are better to be in the yard than in the water, as we will no doubt get some flooding and the river water comes directly from the mountains. More rain is to come beacause.....

'Wilma' is picking up strength but looks (we are praying) to be on a track north of us here in Honduras. She is predicted to be a hurricane tomorrow. Hope all our friends in Cayman are doing ok, let us know how you are over there.

Okeydokey, please keep the emails coming, its always great to hear everyones news and we will keep you updated with the storms progress.

Happy Birthday Dad! 65 years young on the 20th. Enjoy your holiday xxxxxx
