After a quick test sail with friends yesterday, we are finally leaving the yard!
Iain, Liz and Samuel came for a short sail yesterday to witness the hoisting of our new sails. They are from Scotland but work here as missionaries for the 'Conerstone' organisation. They work at a hospital and are in the process of opening a childrens centre/orphanage.
The last couple of days we have been packing everthing away ready to leave. No small task, but thankfully Kilifi is like a tardis (The phone box from Dr Who). We are heading for Cayos Cochinos for some chill out time and will then go to Roatan to dive. We are kind of back tracking our route but we won't be heading south until the weather windows are favourable (probably in January).
Hope you all like the google maps. Mike is doing a great job with this website. The 'tour' section will come soon. We wanted her with all new paint for the photos!
